Halloween is just around the corner. So grab your baking equipment and try out these super cute spider cookies for this year's Halloween night. šŸŽƒ

Please note: For the vegan option just use vegan butter and flax eggs. You can use gluten free flour and baking soda as well.

Ingredients:

- 6 tablespoon of butter

- 1 large egg

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar, plus more for coating

- 1/4 cup light brown sugar

- 1/2 cup of lotus biscoff cream

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

- 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Instructions:

  1. Place a rack in center of the oven, then preheat to 190 degrees. Meanwhile, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. Blend butter and the biscoff cream in a large bowl until completely combined.

  3. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, then beat until fluffy. Make sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl.

  4. Add the egg and vanilla, then continue to mix.

  5. Sift flour, baking soda and salt over the biscoff mixture, then mix everything until it's well combined.

  6. Scoop the dough into balls using a medium cookie scoop and roll them in granulated sugar.

  7. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. make sure to check.

Decoration:

  1. Melt some dark chocolate and put a squeeze on the top of the cookie. Top it with the chocolate milkball and then make the legs, I recommend using a decoliner.

  2. Add two tiny drops of chocolate to the milkball before putting the candy eyeballs on top of it.

I hope you have as much fun as I had when I made these!!

Enjoy and let me know if you liked them.

Love,

Naike
